Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza provides individual coaching, workplace wellbeing and menopause services.
By booking, purchasing or agreeing to receive services from Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza
Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza is operated by Liza Phillips as a sole trader.
Email: wellness_Liza@outlook.com
Services may include:
- individual midlife coaching;
- menopause and andropause coaching;
- nutrition, lifestyle and behaviour-change coaching;
- workplace menopause awareness and education;
- manager training;
- workshops and group sessions;
- workplace menopause support reviews;
- action plan readiness support; and
- other agreed wellbeing services.
Separate terms may apply to certain services, including fitness coaching, 1:1 Diet services and third-party products.
2. Scope of coaching and wellbeing services
Coaching is designed to provide information, education, support and practical guidance relating to wellbeing, lifestyle, behaviour change, menopause, andropause, nutrition and related areas.
Coaching does not constitute medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychotherapy or other regulated healthcare.
Nothing provided during coaching, training, workshops or on this website should be treated as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and wellbeing.
Where symptoms, health concerns or medication issues arise, you may be encouraged to seek advice from your GP, pharmacist or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
3. Individual coaching bookings
Individual coaching sessions must be booked in advance.
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
Current prices will be shown on the website, booking page or otherwise confirmed before purchase.
A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
4. Coaching packages
Where a block of six coaching sessions is purchased, payment is required in full at the time of booking.
All six sessions must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any unused sessions remaining after this period will normally expire.
Where exceptional circumstances prevent sessions being completed within this period, please contact me as early as possible so that reasonable options can be discussed.
5. Individual cancellations and rescheduling
Individual sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge where at least 48 hours’ notice is given.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or where a client does not attend a scheduled session, a £25 late cancellation/no-show fee may apply.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment.
Any cancellation provisions will be applied reasonably and proportionately.
6. Consumer cancellation rights
Where an individual purchases services online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply.
In many circumstances, consumers have a 14-day cancellation period beginning from the date the service contract is entered into.
If you ask for coaching or another service to begin during that 14-day period, you may be asked to confirm that you wish the service to start before the cancellation period has ended.
If services have already begun at your request and you subsequently exercise a statutory cancellation right, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
7. Workplace services
Workplace services will normally be provided following discussion and agreement of the required service.
The scope, delivery format, fees, dates and any specific requirements will normally be confirmed in writing through a proposal, quotation, booking confirmation or email.
Where there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a specifically agreed written proposal, the proposal will take precedence in relation to the matter specifically agreed.
8. Workplace fees and payment
Workplace services will be invoiced in accordance with the agreed proposal or quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may be subject to an additional fee, which will be agreed before the additional work is undertaken.
Late payments may be dealt with in accordance with applicable UK legislation relating to late commercial payments.
9. Workplace cancellation and rescheduling
If an organisation needs to cancel an agreed workplace session, workshop or other service:
- cancellations made more than 5 working days before delivery will normally incur no cancellation charge;
- cancellations made between 2 and 5 working days before delivery may incur a charge of up to 50% of the agreed fee;
- cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery, or failure to attend/provide access for the agreed session, may incur up to 100% of the agreed fee.
Where possible, I will offer the option to reschedule rather than cancel.
One reschedule may normally be made without charge where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, subject to availability.
Any cancellation charge will reflect the circumstances, preparation undertaken and losses reasonably incurred rather than operate as a penalty.
10. Travel and expenses
Where workplace or coaching services are delivered face-to-face, travel requirements and any associated costs will normally be agreed in advance.
Unless otherwise stated in the proposal, business mileage may be charged at 55p per mile.
Additional costs such as parking, public transport, accommodation or venue costs will only be charged where they have been agreed in advance or are reasonably required for the agreed service.
11. Online sessions and technology
Online coaching or workplace sessions may be delivered using Zoom or another agreed video-conferencing platform.
Participants are responsible for having suitable internet access, equipment and software required to join the session.
If a significant technical problem on my side prevents the session from being delivered, I will normally offer to rearrange the affected session without additional charge.
I cannot be responsible for interruptions caused by the participant’s internet connection, equipment, software or other circumstances outside my reasonable control.
Where practical, I will try to find a reasonable alternative.
12. Recording sessions
Coaching sessions, workplace sessions, workshops and training must not be audio-recorded, video-recorded or otherwise reproduced without my prior written permission.
Permission may be subject to additional conditions, including restrictions relating to privacy, confidentiality and use of materials.
13. Intellectual property and training materials
All original slides, handouts, worksheets, guides, exercises, training content and other materials created by Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza remain my intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Clients and organisations may use materials supplied to them for their own personal use or internal organisational use.
Materials must not be:
- sold;
- republished;
- uploaded publicly;
- substantially copied;
- rebranded;
- incorporated into another commercial service or training programme; or
- distributed outside the agreed recipient group
without prior written permission.
14. Confidentiality
Information shared during individual coaching will be treated confidentially, subject to legal obligations and the limits described below.
Confidentiality may need to be broken where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious and immediate concern relating to safety.
For workplace group sessions, workshops or Q&A sessions, I will encourage respectful and confidential participation, but I cannot guarantee the conduct or confidentiality of other participants.
Employers are responsible for ensuring that workplace arrangements do not require participants to disclose personal or medical information publicly.
15. Health information and client responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information where this is reasonably necessary to support you.
You should not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment because of information provided through coaching.
Any changes to medication, treatment or medical care should be discussed with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
16. Results and outcomes
Coaching and workplace services are intended to provide education, guidance, support and practical tools.
Results vary between individuals and organisations.
No particular health, wellbeing, weight, workplace, financial or other outcome is guaranteed.
17. 1:1 Diet services
1:1 Diet services are subject to separate Terms & Conditions provided in connection with that service.
Where those separate terms apply, they will take precedence in relation to the 1:1 Diet service.
18. Serenova products
Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza may provide information and support in connection with Serenova products in the capacity of an independent Wellness Coach.
Purchases of Serenova products, subscriptions, delivery, returns, refunds and other product-sale matters are governed by Serenova’s own terms and conditions.
The purchase contract for Serenova products is not a contract for coaching services with Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza.
Any individual coaching or wellbeing support purchased separately from Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza remains subject to these Terms & Conditions.
19. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible so that I have an opportunity to address the concern.
Complaints can be sent to:
I will aim to acknowledge and respond to complaints within a reasonable timeframe.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to those limitations, Wellness & Wellbeing with Liza will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for losses resulting from circumstances outside reasonable control.
For business clients, liability relating to workplace services will, where legally permitted, normally be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Events outside reasonable control
I will not be responsible for delay or failure to provide services caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control.
This may include serious illness, transport disruption, severe weather, widespread technology failure, venue closure or other similar events.
Where this occurs, I will make reasonable efforts to rearrange or provide an appropriate alternative.
22. Changes to these Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The version that applies to a booking or service will normally be the version in force when the agreement was made, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise agreed.
23. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
